Abstract

|
We experienced 4 clinical cases which had been diagnosed of uterine arteriovenous malformation by Doppler ultrasonogram and pelvic angiogram. In all patients, transarterial embolization was performed as first choice of treatment modality. Among
them,
two cases have failed.
However, another two patients conceived after the successful transarterial embolization.
Therefore, we concluded Doppler ultrasonogram is a useful diagnostic method in patients with arteriovenous malformation. And transarterial embolization is effective as a first choice of treatment in patients who desire to preserve fertility.
